Polyester can only be polished to high gloss.  Any attempt to make it =
satin will result in a gray, slate like look.

A more versatile, less toxic, less flammable, easier to use coating for =
pianos is PianoLac.  You can get a polyester grade high polish or =
lacquer like satin, with non of the drawbacks of either.
