Hi John,
Just got back from a few days in sunny Arizona, and came
back to -28C. Now it's time to think of transferring to the Phoenix chapter.
The Abel Lites work very nicely, get Wally Brooks to custom bore them for
you, and I'm sure you will be happy.
The bass bridges. We measure the bi chord length and plug the upper string
pin and re drill for a new pin,so they are both the same speaking length.
This will get rid of the tuning difficulties across the tenor break.
Order the rescaled bass strings from Pianophile.
We also install Yamaha U3 damper sets so that there is very little damper
over ring. I can talk you through that one on chat list.
I also drill out the agraffes using a drill in a Dremel Tool, that will
cure the string rendering head aches. Just one size up from the existing hole.

Hope that's what you were looking for.
Regards Roger
