I serviced a piano like this in St. Louis. I had the same problem, loose 
threaded tuning pins. I told the customer the piano was untunable. The only 
solution I could offer was to completely rebuild the instrument. He did not 
want to do that.

But you brought up an interesting solution. I wonder if CA glue in the hole 
would do the job? According to what we've read on this list, CA glue works on 
"regular" pin block. So it might work on the threaded pins too. What have you 
got to loose?
