tuning the treble aurally

Hmmmmm ..... So is the ETD being overly influenced by the hammer shock, or
what? Seems like a half second into the sustain, such as it is, the pitch
should read the same as when plucked. Or is that first hammer-whack throwing
it out a little? This needs some thought ... I confess I rely a lot on
"plucking" everything above C7, or so. (Who needs that danged last octave,
anyway? :-)
