I purchase "Tenon Cutters" from various "Woodworking Catalogues". Most of these are made in China. There are various sizes available and will cut to a 2" depth. The hard part is learning how to sharpen these beasties! <G> as they are made of standard(?) tool steel! Be aware of the fact that the cutting of plugs is not a safe thing to do, unless you take all the precautions. DAMHIK! And then there is the "Fixture" that is necessary to drill the existing pinblock; the taking of a drilling pattern, (with appropriate re-alignment), and then veneering the top surface for cosmetics. <G> In all, a whole new learning process. :-( Best Regards, Joe Garrett, RPT, (Oregon) Been There, Didn't Like It, So I'm Here To Stay!
