Working on a Baldwin Grand about 5'8". Can't find any serial number but there is a piece of masking tape on the action on which someone wrote A43094. Was there a model "A"? The beam pattern doesn't match any of the patterns for Baldwin in the DC installation guides. If that's a serial, Pierce makes it 1923. Could be, I guess. It's black with squarish legs. I wouldn't have guessed it to be that old but maybe. There certainly was 80 years of dust/crap on top of the beams--I'm going to charge owners of old grands a cleaning charge with every I DC install henceforth. Anyway, thoughts on the piano as described? Alan Barnard Salem, MO BTW pay attention to where the keyslip screws are before installing the LED panel on a DC install. IOHIK (It's obvious how I know!)
