Soundboard Size Perspective

Yes. What about them? What I really was getting at is that many pianos have no cut off bars or any other structure to limit the size of the soundboard. Such as the upright having all that floppy space below the high treble end of the bridge, where the grand is cut out by the curved case. In this particular case, the upright has an original cut-off bar and the grand has no cut-off bar.
