I have not ever taken apart the lyre/pedal box on my Boston, so I don't know how the pedal is hinged. Is it possible that the hinge mechanism is too low? The pedal on my Boston works very nicely, thank you. I would suspect something having to do with the Player installations/modifications - that's where I have seen many pedals get goofy.
