The Opposite! was Re: Aid for short people

For the high treble on a grand, I scoot the bench fully to the side of the piano, centered approximately in line with the tuning pins. I reach around to the left to strike keys with my left hand. On smallish grands, I reach around the right (back) side of the lid prop and grasp my tuning lever. On larger grands, my right hand may go in front of the lid prop - whichever is most comfortable. The handle of my tuning lever more-or-less points toward the piano rear.

Works well for me except when the grand is on a church stage and there is a drop just after the treble side. I will either kneel at the treble side or if the drop is close enough and a good step, I will stand at the treble side (a step down).
