Yes, I agree, and if I recall correctly (too much stuff on top of it to 
open and confirm) there is an "M" on the plate at the horn/pointy end.

Why does it have "O 170"?  170 _is_ clearly the size.

"O" for Ornery?
      ...Ordinary "M".
      ...Ohne something (like consistency)?
