Got a couple of tools that I can strongly recommend to carry in the old =
kit. I wouldn't be without these, now:

1. Red Devil 5-in-1 painters tool. This is like a spatula but has a =
thin, strong, beveled blade. It is absolutely great for removing old =
felts (rest rail, fallboard, etc.). After soaking the glue, use the tool =
BLADE SIDE DOWN (like a wood plane blade, to prevent the edge digging =
into the wood. It is also thin and strong enough to--carefully--insert =
under a tight key slip to nudge (not pry) it up without marring the =
finish. You will quickly find many other uses for this tool. I use it =
just about daily.

2. Energizer ArcWhite flashlight. Small, light weight, fairly rugged. =
Fits easily in tool kits. Has a VERY powerful beam. Has a reliable =
switch (no more flashlight shaking!) Also has a fluorescent tube, real =
thin, about 3" long, for a softer, more general light. Try the =
florescent light for upright damper adjustments. The light will rest on =
top of the backchecks and give good lighting to find those pesky wires. =
(I never liked to play hide-and-go-feel.) Uses for AA batteries that =
seem to last fairly well.
