Well put! As a long-time observer and some-time participant in this list, I
find it increasingly  lacking in real value. Same names come up 10 or 12
times a day with very little to really contribute.  I often wonder what some
of the persons contributing really do for a living.  Spending so much time
on the list would seem to equate to less time on the job.   Probably not
true as the contributors are probably spending  a full day working, and then
rush home to "share" their days' activities.
 I remember a time when I would print entries to keep for present and future
use, but no longer.  There were so many names that I donot see any longer.
I don't think these people have all died, but rather have gotten fed up with
all the minutia that inundates this list.  Time to unsubscribe and join the
ranks of the disillusioned. I'll sleep better.
