The Steinway Bell Patent

Really now, doesn't the bell provide SOME tonal
augmentation for the notes in this region? Remember
that his thing was conmcieved when phonographs all had
external horns, and a lot of research went into what
size/shape worked best. If you need a nosebolt, why
not one that SINGS?
