Check string height, hammer center height and hammer length to estimate what the string height should be. String angle and downbearing, more importantly...front bearing will show a plate located too low and the front. If this turns out to be the case, lower the tension and if possible reinsert shims. Then again, it might be better to leave it as is as evidence in a court case.
