SW Florida versus California and/or Holland

Of course, Dave, you are right, Florida is not a place for working hard but
for holidays.
As I understand it, the place was inhabited once by indians, who, for some
reason, were able to withstand the heat, the humidity and the mosquitos.
And I must admit that I go to Florida indeed only for purposes of relaxing
and vacationing.
On the other hand, if you live there, you have to at a certain point get
accustomed to the environment otherwise one might have a hot wet time.

I know California well  (my wife comes from there). I like it too there and
the climate is more kind.
For working, Holland is a perfect place because it is usually cool and
cloudy with mild rains. This past Summer we had unusual hot weather because
the climate is changing everywhere and as people in Holland do not have air
conditioners (because that was never necessary) it sort of becomes like
Florida, but without the coral sand beaches, the pelicans and the dolphins.

So I bought a car with auto air con.

A tremendous help.
