That's what I do...I don't actually pre-schedule with a specific date which some folks. I can't see how anyone knows what they'll be doing that far in advance. In my PIM program I enter the info to call them in the agreed upon time frame and their name pops at that time. Some people use tickler files which is a very simple, effective way to make calls...
