Hi Terry,

Yes any short three outlet cord will work--but you can also "tilt" the
humidistat so that one end is located close to the sound board. Are you
using bottom covers yet? There are some outlet adapters that don't stick
out above the stat as well, or you can use two of them plugged in to give
you the necessary clearance.
