The "worth" is exactly what a buyer is willing to pay for it; no more, =
no less.

If a buyer were asking my advice, I would HAVE to see the piano and =
evaluate it professionally--starting with the pin block (if shot, =
nothing else to look at).

Pratt, Reed etc. are the makers of the action (hammers and =
all)--generally reliable. Any parts this old, however, will tend to be =
brittle, the glue joints start failing, etc.=20

If the hammers and damper felts are original, they need replacing.

If the strings are more than 25 years old, or so, they probably need to =
go, too.

Are the ribs of the soundboard still firmly attached? Any horrendous =
cracks in the board?

I recommend any buyer invest a few bucks and have a qualified piano =
technician evaluate the piano.
