You miss my point Richard. I don't resent it, but it is time we moved 
on to a new understanding (after all there has been a minor increase 
in knowledge over the past 120 years). My present understanding of 
the front duplex has been documented previously on this list. 
However, while I'm not suggesting that folks shouldn't like what has 
been done in the past, there does seem to be some risk of worshipping 
the past to such an extent that it may cloud an appreciation of what 
is being achieved in this century. We must allow ourselves the 
possibility of believing in our ability to contribute to further 
understanding.

Some will, some won't.

Nearly impossible when trying to deal with many who celebrate a 
glorious past to such an extent that it might well deny anything new 
coming to mainstream attention.

Agreed.

Some are, from my jaundiced perspective of 2002, flawed while some 
still stand scrutiny. We can only try to make a true assessment based 
on what we have come to understand.
