David, with all due respect, what happened at the convention was good =
clean fun. The object of our destructiveness was nothing more than a =
piece of wood, metal, and plastic that resembled the shape of a piano. =
Nothing more. Nothing less. Not to make fun of your opinion, but my only =
comment to you, and it comes with great admiration for your feelings, is =
to lighten up.=20

Just my thoughts=20

    I just read that article, Wim. Glad to hear it was a digital. I was =
thinking that they broke up a regular piano. Must have missed something. =
But Roger's a Baldwin dealer, and if they stiffed him, I wouldn't put it =
past him to want to be the first with the big hammer. =20
    But knowing it was a digital plays in to a certain Luddite fear that =
lurks deep down in the brain stem of all piano technicians that perhaps =
we could be replaced with machines. Hey! It happened to the pin-setters =
at the bowling alleys!=20

Recommended reading at this point: "Player Piano" by Kurt Vonnegut.=20
