Was he also a devout atheist? God gave Noah permission to eat meat at the 9th chapter of Genesis. Since that was true it follows that man did not eat meat before the flood. Perhaps the reason was that the flood washed much of the earths minerals into the sea, and it was a necessary procedure to provide man with needed nutrition. Now I'll admit God didn't say eat it three time a day seven days a week, but abstain? Hardly?

More vegetarians: Einstein, Leonardo Da Vinci, Nikolai

Hundreds? A mere pittance! Tens of thousand of carnivores are also highly revered. Should I give greater respect to the minority?

Hundreds of Gay persons have made significant contributions in certain fields as well. They are also a minority. Do you expect me to give them greater respect than the majority of heterosexuals who make great strides for humanity? I don't want to pattern my life after them.

Sorry, God outranks Pythagorus as a role model for me.

And if one enters a notion of God into the

If you're invoking God's name to support you vegetarianism, it only works on the uninformed. Did I mention I often read statistics that refute the idea that vegetarians are healthier than meat eater?
