It isn't in Iowa, either, but them turnip squeezers had fun in Pennsylvania.

When I was tuning there (many moons ago), the PA infernal revenue dept told 
me that: "Service done on a taxable item is taxable."

Clothing was not taxed, so seamstresses didn't need to charge tax for their 
services.  Pianos ARE subject to sales tax, so...

I rarely quote her, but my CPA ex-wife used to call tax laws; "accountant 
full-employment acts".
