Tom,
I, too, have noticed this same action or re-action when pulling pianos
up to pitch especially on less expensive instruments and usually for me
especially at the break in the treble section and up. I tend to agree with
Joe Garrett. I do believe it might be for a lack of a better word "overpull"
....twicking the string down to high side of the pitch or maybe it is the
"rolling bridge". Whatever....what's the best solution?
