Kawai/ Metric pin size?

  Looking for confirmation that Kawai uses metric
pin sizes, smaller then #2 at .282  
  String sizes appear to be true to expectations.

  Restringing Kawai grand. Do not want to increase
torque significantly. A good 100 lbs there now.

  I measured one original pin at .280 ",
  #2 would be .282
  
  I would rather not leave them in, requiring a couple
  hundred separate coils for transfer. So, if the one
  pin is not a freak, I could go up to #2, an increase
  of only a half size and have about the same torque.

    Not quite like restringing an old beast begging
  for more torque.

                        Sounds about right, yes?
