I'm sure we'll get it, but not likely from Dan. I think Sarah Fox is
going to be the one to do it. The Wissner concert grand (oh, won't
somebody please just draw her a new string scale...). Her background
in acoustics, and her intense curiosity. Then of course, there's Dan
Swifts proposal of the gate measurer. Like we say down at the
precinct, ..got the motive, the means and the opportunity.

Yes by the time Sarah get through with this, she'll have redesigned
the sustain timer into something available to any of us, off the
shelf, complete with downloadable .pdf manual. Then we'll have one
hundred monkeys working on this problem. Considering that there would
probably never elsewhere be the occasion to put a hundred lab
technicians on this, I'd consider this a good survey.

After an engineering study on this issue, heck, we could turn next to
(dare I say it...) observing the relationship between SW and sound. I
mean, we'd all like to know this one. And if this were measured by an
agreed-upon procedure and hardware/software, we'd all be satisfied.
Like totally, Science Rules!

I think it similar to the "Tests by Doctors at a Major Hospital
Show.." (doessoundlikeaviagraadsdoesn'tit?) Or like Lenny Bruce says,
"True more in general than specifically.." I look forward to finding
out otherwise, but while were waiting here, I'm choosing to be amused.

Right about now, if I were Mr. Franklin I'd be handing out free
sliders to anyone who wants to try for themselves, with the
understanding that if not satisfied, the sliders would be returned.

I'm surprised that there hasn't even been any anecdotal
substantiation. There are alot of people here who believe in miracles
(and yes, magic), but we haven't heard from anyone whose actually
witnessed a miracle (except the guy selling the crosses). (Sorry,
Dan, just keeping myself amused...)
