Yes, I remember the inspired posting with which we filled Newton's mailbox when he was gone, and how he quoted nearly every one back at us in his delight at finding them. And I remember how he went to Cuba and came back with hardly any of his stuff, because he had given it all away. And I remember how he went to Chile and fixed that Yamaha with the bad geometry, and had such a wonderful time. I'm so glad he went. It seems impossible that I won't be able to write him some bit of nonsense and get an answer, or that he won't call me on that cell phone in transit to somewhere-or-other.
