Maybe we could set an Email Rule as in Microsoft Outlook to move any message with OT in the subject line to the Deleted Items folder to be dumped upon exit. That would save me a lot of time and no doubt many others. Considering I delete some of the "On Topic" posts due to a beginners understanding of piano technology, I delete approximately 80% of what I download each day. I thought that these were interesting guidelines to go by. I received them when I first signed on the list from the majordomo utility when pianotech was using it. They are kind of interesting considering that latest influx of material. I don't know if they are still part of the rules of the list or not. Please follow these guidelines when posting: - Sign your real name to your messages (adding your location and place of employment is even better). - Don't post large attachments or messages -- offer to send it to people or make it available on the web instead. - Don't "cross-post" your message to multiple mailing lists. Choose the one forum best suited for your topic instead. So far today there are 23 OT posts vs. 25 posts actually regarding pianos. Yes, it was a simple matter to delete them. Just like I delete the SPAM each AM. This is not why I subscribed to the list.
