And this problem can be solved by coupling the bridge directly to the bellybraces. A few cut-to-fit hard maple or laminated birch spacers along with a bunch of, say, Grade 8, 3/8" NF hex head bolts through the bridge and braces should do the trick. Always willing to help.... Del
