That is the theory anyways :-) My opinion is don't use it.....the steel is much harder than the wire and damage to the wire happens when the tool is used enthusiastically. There are better ways to accomplish the same things with no likely damage to the wire...though I am sure other's' mileage will vary............... My view. Jim Bryant (FL)
