Duplex Friends and Phobes alike -

Back in March (3/15/02) I posted my compilation of the various threads
which began as "Negative Bearing" (David Love 11/30/01) and which evolved,
digressed, and morphed, only to fade with "Vibrating Strings
(3/14/02). Needless to say, David's original question never got
answered, thus, I find his presence in this currently related thread all
the more gratifying, I thought I would repost the list, since the
discussion was referred to on a number of occasions in this current
debate. That anyone would be disturbed enough to actually access this
material, never mind actually read through it all, is an entirely separate
matter.

Actually, it was an amazing exchange, and it was especially disappointing
(though understandable) that the discussion of 'primo-generator" (i.e. -
What moves first, the bridge or the soundboard?) was not revisited after
the combatant parties retreated to absorb a working command of non-linear
physics.

There might well be related threads that have appeared in the interim that
I have missed, but hope, nonetheless, that the following proves useful.
