Terry, growing action brackets couldn't be the cause of the problem, because the piano was fine 3 weeks ago before the cabinet repair was done. (Could the brackets have a growth spurt that quickly?!) Also, the hammers seem to be hitting in the right place on the string. Tom Sivak
