Of course, it was a different hammer than they produce now.  Didn't need =

     Good point and frankly how many folks have enjoyed the sounds of =
20's Steinways or older that have the typically light Steinway hammers =
and the pianos, in most cases, sound more than beefy and adequate and =
musically enjoyable.
