I have uploaded a web page where you can calculate diameters and covers for
covered strings.

The program allows you to specify the pitch of A-49, the number of the note,
the length of the string, the tension you are aiming for and the core
diameter.  When you submit the form, the results are calculated very quickly
and returned to you.

You must be on line to use this form.

I can elaborate the program on demand to give more information but please
don't ask me to give an option to use inches -- not because it can't be done
but because inches are for carpenters and not piano technicians!

I will later develop a form where a whole scale can be filled in on the one
form and then submitted, but this requires more coding time than I have
available at the moment.
