It has been mentioned here that Outlook and Outlook Express should be
avoided like (pick you own...)..I'm as computer illiterate as I am piano
proficient, so I would like those who know to please tell me, a long-time IE
user, why these programs should be avoided..I guess my question pertains to
Outlook Express only, since Outlook seems to have enough bugs to keep me
away from using it..

I do not want to come off sounding like a M$ supporter..I'm not..I actually
started out using Eudora a looong time ago, and recently downloaded their
'free' version and thought it wasn't very good..I use to use Netscape for
about 2 years and thought their idea of a mail client and browser was not
bad, but then it got realll s l o w as the updates got into the 5.0's,
and switched to IE.. and I've been pleased up till now..I guess I'm frugal
in the sense that between PAYING for Anti-Virus and PAYING for Firewall
protection because I'm PAYING for a hi-speed connection, my e-mail client
ranks low on the list of things I am willing to PAY for...if you get my
drift..
