New bass strings - Eye unwinding

IMO the eye was made incorrectly. I think the string maker is really aware
of that, as he is making new ones "at no charge". Some Loop makers get out
of whack from time to time. I suspect the string maker has discovered this
and has done the necessary maintainence, so that the new strings will not
have this problem. Sounds like the String maker is doing right by you.
