To put it in the cents realm, as opposed to beats:

Distance in cents from just, for intervals in equal temperament:

1/2 step   1.73 cents narrow
whole step  3.91 cents narrow
minor third  15.64 cents narrow
major third  13.69 cents wide
fourth       1.96 cents wide
aug. fourth  9.78 cents wide
fifth        1.96 cents narrow
minor sixth  13.69 cents narrow
major sixth  15.64 cents wide
minor seventh  3.91 cents wide
major seventh  11.73 cents wide

It is a common misconception that other instruments use equal temperament.  
It really only applies to fixed-pitch instruments, all others adjust pitch 
on-the-fly to sound "the best".  That is usually doesn't leave time for the 
beat-counting that equal temperament requires.
