Soundboard Dimensions

Well David, I feel kinda silly now. Thank you for jogging my thinking function. I just measured my 5' 10" Boston and see that it is 20 inches from the front edge to the soundboard. I realize a big piano is going to be further, which would give a nine-foot piano more like a seven-foot-long soundboard. I'll make my box eight-foot and maybe I'll even be in good shape when that big Fazzy arrives!
