Hi Avery,
Yes, and no. In the short term, like the cycling of the furnace while
you're tuning, it's the temperature. The strings change in length, altering
pitch, with temperature changes. This happens very quickly. Dimensional
changes in wood from humidity changes (temperature change driven or
otherwise), take considerably longer.
