I'd say we reduce the speaking area of the typical 9'/275 cm grand by about
25 to 35%. That's a guess, I've not calculated it.

My brother's action. I designed and built the piano. He designed the action.
He also wrote an article or two on the subject. Check the Journal index
and/or the CD. It should be on there but I have no idea of just when.
