Hi Hazen,
I don't know what you mean by band aided. If you replace the plug and =
wire, it is back to 100%. I have never heard of the micro-switch to go =
u/s.
On the list, a while back, someone said he had rigged up a wireless =
switch, adapting a Radio Shack wireless doorbell assy.
The thumbswitch assy, is a coil cord, with a switch that is attached to =
your tuning hammer with a velcro switch.
I have just used the foot switch, on the older SAT. The auto advance of =
the SAT lll, is one of it's best features. I figure it saves me about 5 =
mins. per piano, I never measured, it is just a perception, I have.
