Rebushing 3/16" balance rails

I assume that you are referring to the "width" of the balance rail button
"slot". Although, it takes up some valuable time, I recommend making the
appropriate "cauls" out of maple. I did this years ago and it has worked
just fine, for those occasional Knabe/Chickering/?? that used that type of
button.
