hello, polishing, and if not enought, sanding before with water abrasive paper, 600 -1200 + buffing. Little buffing (finishing) can be done all whites together in a stack, buffing cotton in a slow drill. Good buffing pastes (solid) are important strong and fine quality. Made one once where the keys where washed with acetone (nail varnish solvent ) ! took 2 - 3 H with the sanding Isaac OLEG Isaac OLEG > -----Message d'origine----- > De : owner-pianotech@ptg.org [mailto:owner-pianotech@ptg.org]De la part > de BSHARPTUNE@AOL.COM > Envoyé : dimanche 13 janvier 2002 20:33 > À : pianotech@ptg.org > Objet : Removing Black Marker From Keytops > > > I recently came across a piano where a little girl had taken a > black magic > marker and really did a job on the whites.
