We don't even know which area of the piano the squeak comes from. But we know it was a vertical, since grands don't have bottom boards, and we know it was fairly easy to find, since it took you only a few minutes to locate. On the other hand, maybe it was hard, since it stumped another technician. My guess is a liftrod hook rubbing on its metal hanger or an incorrectly bushed hanger.
