Another option -- I've read a good way to keep a cat off your bed is to put down a sheet of aluminum foil. Cats hate the way it feels on their feet as well as the noise. Not sure if it would be as noisy sitting on a piano lid, maybe a folded blanket underneath it as well to make it noisy?
