Voice actuated recorders are great. Reporters use them as a back up to notes. Legal that way as note taking is considered recording. No fiddling around, turn it on and leave it on. Tapes last a long time. Most people talk easier if they don't think they are being recorded. You don't want to be obvious, requiring a policy to be set. Of course misquoting could be criminal.
