I am now of the opinion that they simply lack the technical terminology to put much of what they do know into words we can understand. They may not know that an inverted cross grained acoustic planel is likley to cause them difficulty in their attempts at realizing optimal harmonic intercourse with the string plane through the user interface provided by the instrument at hand, but they do know more about what they like to hear and feel then we are ofte times able to ascertain from them. But thats just my opinion :) Cheers ! RicB -- Richard Brekne RPT, N.P.T.F. UiB, Bergen, Norway mailto:rbrekne@broadpark.no http://home.broadpark.no/~rbrekne/ricmain.html
