Absolutely spot-on, Keith.  Thank you.  And this from one who believes, 
that, by and large, the ETD has diluted our craft.  There will always be 
gifted craftsman who use whatever tools they're comfortable with to 
create beauty---but generally the machine is a crutch for guys. In my 
humble opinion.  BUT---it may have raised the level & consistency of the 
"normal" tuning, and that's great. Let's talk about setting the dang 
pins, boys.

I, too, am deeply grateful to this list.  Thanks to all, from the bottom 
of my heart.  Thanks especially to Tom Servinsky and Andre Oorebeek.
