Hi Tommy,
  I WANT IT 'FIXED NOW'.=20
  The question is....
  Is this possible
  And how?
I think your fix
May be acetone.
But will it drive out
Water alone?

Acetone is very
Volatile, you see.
And it carries away
Water quite easily.

But whether it damages
Cement or glue...
I regret to say
I haven't a clue.

(Sorry... Couldn't resist.)

Don't use any product with water (e.g. alcohol + water), because the =
water will stay behind and add to your problem. The proper strategy =
would be to flush the bushing with some dehydrating liquid. The liquid =
will dissolve and carry away the water, as you dab it away with a cloth =
or tissue. Then when the remaining liquid dries, you will have less =
water. You would of course have to use a very volatile liquid, likely =
acetone, with a roughly zero water content (e.g. not nail polish =
remover).

Another possibility is a light cyclical silicone oil, such as made by =
GE. They have two highly volatile silicone oils used extensively in =
cosmetics (i.e. the budge-proof products that "set" when they dry). I =
don't know whether you would have access to these products.

Peace,
Sarah
