I've played a lot of keyboards and a lot of pianos, and I have yet to discover any keyboard that is capable of the kind of expression that even a quality console can produce. As a private piano teacher, I am often defending the piano in the piano vs. keyboard debate. However, I am open t= o possibilities. I was recently looking at the B=F6sendorfer pamphlet that is included with my Randy Potter course titled What Makes a B=F6sendorfer a B=F6sendorfer and found that they make a B=F6sendorfer Computer Grand. Has anyone here heard of this or come in contact with one? If so, what is it? How does it work? Here are some of the features they list. -over 1000 degrees of touch expression for each key -extreme loud and soft playing -controlled key releases -pedal position control of greater than 1/1000th of an inch -self-calibrating actions -midi compatible -extended midi language -on-line velocity tables for perfect synthesizer interfaces Sounds like heaven. Who do you have to kill to get one? Jeremy Gould -- "Exceptions are a fact of life because few "facts"are always true. Logi= c fails because it tries to find exceptions to this rule." Hi.=20 I think the Roland 977 has the most realistic touch I've played, you can actually feel the aftertouch on the keystroke. It also has a sample of a 9' Steinway.I sell these in my store, and have had great results from them.
