Dear List, It's been awhile since I've repaired an upright with brass flanges. Other than Gerald Foye's 2 page article in the Nov. 1982 Piano Technicians Journal, is there any article or brief note on optimal procedures for using repair clips? I'm seldom really happy with my results (and I have to revive a couple pianos with brass flange problems this week). Thanks, Patrick Draine
